Have questions about our Intensive Outpatient Program in Louisville? Here are some of the most common questions we receive. If you would like more information or have a question that isn’t answered here, please reach out to us. We would be more than happy to discuss our treatment program and how we can help you.

What Do You Treat At Solutions Counseling Center?

We treat multiple issues that you may be facing in our outpatient counseling program. This includes depression, anxiety, PTSD, as well as addictions.

What Substance Addictions Does Solutions Counseling Center Treat?

We treat a wide variety of drug and alcohol addiction. This includes addiction to prescription medications and illegal drugs.

What Is Intensive Outpatient Treatment?

Our outpatient rehab in Louisville is comprised of nine hours of treatment a week. You attend the program at our facility, but you aren’t required to live here. Outside of the program hours, you are free to work, continue your education, or pursue any other activity. We highly recommend that you attend 12 step groups in addition to any treatment program.

Does Your Program Treat Co-occurring Conditions?

Yes, we help our patients deal with co-occurring conditions that affect their drug use. These include anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health conditions. These co-occurring conditions typically lead to a dual diagnosis in which a patient is diagnosed with an addiction and with another mental health disorder. Since the two conditions are so tightly bound together, both must be treated in order for the patient to become fully sober.

What Treatment Models Do You Use?

Our counselors make use various treatment models, all of which are evidence-based and have been proven to be effective in treating addiction. They include EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, ABA services, trauma-focused counseling, and more. Our Intensive Outpatient Program also offers an evidence-based approach that includes education, therapy, support, family involvement, and community resources.

Do You Offer Aftercare?

Yes, we offer an aftercare group program that allows you to continue learning about addiction and how to combat it after you leave our Intensive Outpatient Program. We also recommend our patients join a local 12-step program and seek out a sponsor.

Who Is a Good Candidate for Solutions Counseling Center?

Anyone who is struggling should reach out to us. We have an outpatient counseling program that can assist you in addressing the major obstacles in your life. We also have Intensive Outpatient Program to assist you if you are struggling with sobriety. This program can give you the freedom you need to continue living your life and being a part of your family while also providing the treatment, education, and care required to live a sober life.

Why Work with Solutions Counseling Center?

Our program is unique in that we focus on treating more than just your addiction. We look at the issues that led to your addiction and address those, allowing you to live a sober life with less of a fear of relapsing.

How Long Will it Take to Become Sober?

This is a difficult question to ask because everyone moves through the recovery program at their own pace. While inpatient programs typically last 30 days, that’s often because insurance programs do not cover more than a month of inpatient recovery. As an outpatient program, we are more flexible. There’s no need to rush through treatment or stop before you feel ready.

Will Insurance Cover Your Program?

In many cases, yes, health insurance will cover the cost of rehab. However, it does depend on the specifics of your plan. We can assist you in working with your insurance.
